IBS develops the Forma toolbox - a set of tools for building, analyzing and estimating large scale dynamic general equilibrium models and computable general equilibrium models. A version 2.4 is available for download. Forma version 2.4
New features: much better support for discrete heterogeneity, support for specifying models with overlapping structure, automatic derivation of the first order conditions for optimal policy, better support for parameter calibration, version 2.4 is able to generate model approximation up to any order. Version 2.4 contains routines for solving first order perturbation terms, a new approximation technique for solving non stationary models and models without steady state. Forma v. 2.4 requires Matlab. Research
Developments of approximation techniques for solving large scale models (up to thousands of state variables), working on higher order perturbation solvers, estimation procedures, including continuous heterogeneity. Working papers
