Internship and Practices

Doing our best to support the development of knowledge in the area of social and quantitative sciences, IBS offers an opportunity to implement and deepen skills of adepts in these sciences. We invite students as well as graduates of economics to take part in internship and practices in our institute.

We offer work with the research projects realized by the IBS, we guarantee an interesting and developing tasks and we ensure nice and inspiring atmosphere in a dynamically developing team. The practices and internship in IBS will be attractive for students interested in scientific theoretical work, as well as for those appealed by empirical studies and practical implementation of possessed skills in the analysis of economies and their complexity. We ensure the possibility of work with experienced economists and analysts and direct contribution in the research realized by the institute. We offer the access to knowledge gathered by the ISR throughout the hitherto scientific and research work, in particular to our information resources. We enable learning of contemporary methods and tools of economic analysis. Trainees and interns are directly integrated into teams working on concrete projects and they participate in them actively. The practice in IBS can be therefore a perfect inspiration for the choice of the master thesis topics.

We expect our trainees and interns to be open-minded, scrupulous, willing to learn and possessing knowledge in economics and/or quantitative methods. The knowledge of English language and computer skills, including at least basic skills in statistical and econometric programs will be an additional advantage of the candidates.
